DROPS Air – Alpaca & Merino Wool Yarn

DROPS Design DROPS Air is a medium-thick blow yarn made from 65% baby alpaca, 28% polyamide and 7% wool. Instead of traditional spinning, the baby alpaca and merino wool fibers are blown into a tube construction, creating a uniquely light and airy yarn.

Garments knitted in this yarn are approximately 30–35% lighter than those made with conventional spun yarns of similar thickness. The result is a soft, warm and completely itch-free yarn that feels beautiful against the skin.

Perfect for sweaters, jackets, cardigans, hats, scarves and textured or cable patterns.
